Best haircut (male) using clippers?

I currently have long hair (looks awful) and Im the kind of person that prefers hair that is easy to maintain.

The problem is, last time I got it cut I didnt have a clue what all these 'numbers' were with the clippers so I just asked the hairdresser for a 3 all round - it was disastrous as it made my hair look like a ball with no shape.

Ive heard that its best to get something a bit longer on the top andshort on the sides - any suggesions for which number I should get on the sides (and back) and the top of my head?

Best haircut (male) using clippers?

God I wish I had your worries .. please give me some of your hair as I lost most of mine 25years ago ,,

Just enjoy it while you have got it young man.

I am sure it looks great the way it is.

Best haircut (male) using clippers?

stop being a drama Queen and get a short back and sides

Best haircut (male) using clippers?

numbers??

go to the hairdresser and tell them that and they will give you some ideas.

since you dont like long hair, cut it short! maybe like an inch to 1/2 an inch long so it doesn't look like you're near baldness!

a bit shorter in the back and longer on the top looks good

Shaving body hair?

i am an adult male with a pretty hairy body (chest, arms, legs, etc) i want to shave my chest hair and some of my arm hair. What is the most effective, cheapest way to do so? I've tried using my disposable razor and shaving cream and well, that didn't work (nor did i expect it to). Do i buy clippers or something?

Also is it true that shaving chest hair makes it grow back thicker?

thanks for you help.

Shaving body hair?

You should buy clippers if you have a lot of really thick hair. I'm not sure what the cost of that would be. I use a trimmer set that has 4 different heads. You can get a good set from $20 to $30. It works pretty well, but takes a long time if I trim all my chest hair.

My chest hair did not grow back any thicker after I trimmed it. Yours probably won't either.

I would never trim my arm hair below my elbow.

I've been thinking about trimming my leg hair, but it goes all the way from my ankles to my butt. It's not very long, but it's pretty thick.

Do you trim your pubic hair? I trim that more often. Don't try shaving there.

Shaving body hair?

I'm glad you like my advice. It works for me, so I don't mind sharing.

Thanks for the vote. Report It

Shaving body hair?

clippers work best when shaving body hair.

Shaving body hair?

My chest hair was already thick, so I don't know about thicker.

I use a smaller electric trimmer, and then a disposable. I like the triple blades.

The problem with shaving your chest is where to stop. I started and by the time I was done, I had shaved to my knees....

Shaving body hair?

shaving doesnt make the hair come back thicker. try veet shave foam

Shaving body hair?

ill be honest, keep it unless a lady tells ya to shave for sexual play or pleasure, it itches and its a life sentence, i shaved the "family jewls" and to avoid the embarrasing itch, continue to shave, its up to u, tho

Shaving body hair?

i would just use clippers like you said because you dont want all of your arm or leg hair gone because people will assume your gay or preppy or something so just trim it as i call it so it isnt too long and scarry but still average

Shaving body hair?

Hi PrideBoi, Jeff here...I am hairy, and boi do i have experience to share with u!!! Waxing is the best, pulls the hair out at the root, much longer time before u have stubble and/or need to shave/wax again. Downside: HURTS LIKE HELL...I think shaving makes it seem to grow back thicker, but i dont think that's possible, i think it just SEEMS that way.

If you want to shave your arms and chest, my suggestion is just buy a big set o'clippers, like Wahl or Oster/whatever, the kind you plug in to an outlet, and shave yr hair off with the clippers, shaving with the growth of the hair so that youre not YANKING hair outta yr arm/chest and causing those tears to well up(save those for dating!!!LOL)Once the hair is about 1/2 inch long, run the clippers the other way without any attachments. That should get most of the hair off til u have about 1/4 inch left...Make sure u throw this hair in the trash, not down the drain, otherwise youll get a clog. I always shave outta town in a motel so i dont have to worry...fyi. Then rinse off in the shower, using soap to remove excess hair, and apply foam to areas if u wanna shave bald. Use yr razor, rinse often to see if u got it all. That's it, not too hard, you should be able to do it all in 30 min. or less. Personal note: this is just my opinion...I like my men to look like men, not like they are 15 yrs. old. If you are in your 20's or 30's and are hairy, I THINK THAT IS TOTALLY HOT. I know plenty of guys that feel the same way. Most men nowadays are starting to look like plucked chickens, and I think it's sad. I'll bet you're pretty sexy...would love to see some pix of that fur...yum!

Shaving body hair?

u should wax

How do you taper hair?

I recently bought the Wahl Super Taper clippers and I want to learn how to taper hair. What do you do and in what order? Any help would be nice, thanks

How do you taper hair?

Go to beauty school preferably because blending yourself is not as easy as you might think (fades, are the in thing and guys are meticulous about having it blended proper ) and you will end up paying for a cut afterwards most likely.

Why are my liveryman mustang clippers refusing to cut sometimes and heating up quickly?

Liveryman Mustang Clippers A2 Blades for med to heavy use I believe, serviced twice in last year, all hair removed from inside and fully taken apart by people in the know! Only used to clip a max of six horses in a season but they are a few years old! Blades sharpened regularly and kept oiled when not being used.. Why do the clippers get hot so quickly when they have been cleaned and the fan is working perfectly and clear and the engine sounds fine? Sometimes when I first turn them on with sharp blades on they refuse to cut and chew the hair instead so I have to keep tightening the screw on the blades to make them cut, sometimes this works but other times I have to loosen it almost right back again before they will work???

Can anyone suggest what might be wrong? These are not heavily used and have been serviced and looked after! The expert who serviced them told me the engine and fan were fine just needed cleaning out which he did!?

Can't afford a new set so need to know whats wrong?

Why are my liveryman mustang clippers refusing to cut sometimes and heating up quickly?

keep oiled when you switch on and keep oiled every 15mins during use, should ease problem.

Why are my liveryman mustang clippers refusing to cut sometimes and heating up quickly?

Did your expert or the manufacturers instructions also tell you that you need to keep the blades oiled while they are in use? You have two metal surfaces rubbing together, and just like pistons in a car engine, the blades need to be kept oiled with a few drops of machine oil just after you turn them on. You will notice a change in the sound (usually quieter). See what type of oil they recommend, but a machine oil similar to 3-in-1 or Wahl's clipper oil (available at Walmart - but call first to check) should do the trick. Good luck.

Why are my liveryman mustang clippers refusing to cut sometimes and heating up quickly?

Try to remove as much mud/dust etc from the horses coat before you clip. Dust and oil make a great grinding paste that takes the edge off cutting blades. Don't overtighten the blades. They need to be just tight enough to cut - any tighter and they just get hot.

What are the best clippers to shave your head?

I have a set of WAHL head clippers to shave my head...they pull and my head bleeds! What brand do i need to get to just run it over my head and get a close painless shave without pulling hair? I don't care about price, i will pay more for top clippers!

What are the best clippers to shave your head?

My Hubby %26amp; Son both use our Wahl with no problems as long as it's cutting blades are kept oiled. A drop or 2 on the blades and then I turn them on %26amp; let it work into blades.

Also, if Hubby's hair is longer, I use the comb attachment to cut the length down as much as possible first.

Going slower also helps.

Then once Hubby's hair is as short as the Wahl can get it, sometimes I will use shaving cream and a razer.

It just takes time %26amp; practice. Hope this helps!

Ok for the last 7yrs i've had my hair bald. Im trying to...?

Well not really bald, there was still some hair after i cut it all off with my clippers. Im trying for a new change. I've been growing my hair for a lil over a week and its to 1/8 of an inch.

My question, what style do you recommend,(please links w/pics). Im not a very good visualizer. Point is, im trying to change my image, and who i am as a person here a link to some pics of me http://photopost.brownpride.com/showphot...

yeah i wasnt in a very good condition when they took the pic, kinda tired lol

Thanks, Only serious answers please!

Ok for the last 7yrs i've had my hair bald. Im trying to...?

Ok for a start, I think you look great how you are, but I also understand that sometimes you just want a change. First you need to take into consideration how your hair naturally is.. Is it thick, thin, straight, curly, wavy?

If you have fairly manageable hair, then I suggest you keep growing it for a little more, then go to a hairdresser or barber and he or she will be the best at telling you what is best for you.

Put your trust in them, and it will be fine. there isn't much you can do while you are growing it out, you just have to be patient.

Good luck.

Ok for the last 7yrs i've had my hair bald. Im trying to...?

You look alright like that. But if you gonna grow I wouldn't go too long. Short back and sides and styled on top never goes wrong. Good luck

Ok for the last 7yrs i've had my hair bald. Im trying to...?

i would def grow you hair out (although i cant say a specific style, just def longer) i personlly dont like when a guy shaves his head like this, no offense, so anything else will look good on ya!

Ok for the last 7yrs i've had my hair bald. Im trying to...?

i dont think u should try 2 grow it u look good already. but try wearin some playa caps

Little boy with long hair?

My son is almost 2. He used to get his hair cut regularly, I do it at home. At around 1 year, he became afraid of the clippers.

I think it is the vibration, plus seeing his hair coming off.

I have not cut his hair since the day he was afraid. It is about 3 inches long from his scalp now.

Every time I cut our 4 yr olds hair, or Daddy's hair, I will put him in the chair after and we will try a pretend hair cut. He still does not like it, and as soon as he acts afraid I let him down.

I don't think there is any reason to cut his hair if it is going to scare him. I don't want to hold him down screaming, just so he "looks like a boy"

A lot of people have told me that he is starting to look like a girl, with his long hair. He wears boyish clothes, so I just ignore it.

My question is, is it bad to let his hair grow until he wants it cut?

Why is long hair looked at so badly for a little boy?

Little boy with long hair?

Have you tried using scissors instead of clippers?

If you are fine with his hair, I would not worry about it, he is so young right now.

Little boy with long hair?

I think he's got the right just as anyone else older than he is to chose when he wants his hair cut. Who cares if he looks like a girl, I mean if he came out with girly facial features you wouldn't try and change his face around to make him more boyish looking.

Little boy with long hair?

i think he is looked at like this because he is so little. I mean when the boys are teens they basically all have long hair but because when its a little boy and the mom decides when the child gets it cut, they look more clean shavin. I think that if u take him to a place and they offer him camp they may be aole to help out alot. Good luck U hope he gets over his fear.

Little boy with long hair?

It isn't about the hair at all. He needs to learn that what you say goes!! Hold his head still, get some help from someone, maybe put in a movie...

Tricking him into sitting still with a movie or toy will at least help him learn appropriate behavior while getting a hair cut. You can slowly reduce the movies etc...later.....

Think about what is going to happen when there is something really important that he has to do.........Every thing is a teachable moment for a child.

Little boy with long hair?

I don't see anything wrong with long hair on a boy, but you might want to see if you can at least cut his fringe with a pair of scissors - perhaps scissors won't bother him so much.

Little boy with long hair?

well when I was growing up everybody had long hair. Well everyone except for me. I had to settle for sort of a half frizzy curly afro type of thing. I looked like an idiot LOL. I do notice alot of kids are starting to wear their hair longer again, I predict that eventually in a few years longer hair will be the style again. Don't force him, when he starts going to be around other kids he will want to have a hairstyle that doesn't stand out so much. Most kids do anyway and he will want you to cut if it is really long. It will probably solve itself. I wouldn't fret too much about it. You could always cut with scizzors too.

Little boy with long hair?

Dont listen to everyone else. Just listen to your son. If he is scared, then he is scared. Dont push him. Everyone else can stare or whatever, you know your son is a boy. To hell with everyone else. Just listen to what your son wants!

Little boy with long hair?

I dont think it is the ppl that are saying this are prude's and they incorrperate Long= hippie? Not only is it a fear to cut your son's hair maybe he like's it long... If he looks like a girl then kinda mess it up do brush it stright down!!

Little boy with long hair?

In some cultures long hair is good on a boy. however, if he has long, blond, wavey hair and a feminine face, then you may put a higher priority on his looks...

My toddler is a little afraid of the clippers. I actually cut part of my hair with the clippers, then left the clippers where he could see them on the counter. He played with them for awhile, then asked me to turn it on. I had a guard on it, plugged it in, turned it on, and let him feel the vibration on his hand. I put the biggest guard I had on it, and cut his hair a little bit - starting at the back. He was OK for a minute, but asked me to stop before I got done. We did this a few times, and his hair did look pretty stupid because of the type of hair he has (it does NOT look good long). But gradually he got used to it. He still protested, but I put him on the counter, let him lean against me and hug me, I put one arm on him and cut his hair. We got through it just fine that way a couple times now.

Little boy with long hair?

It's not I think it's really cute! : )

Little boy with long hair?

I know a little boy in my daughters t-ball class that I swore was a girl, not just hair but facial features too, just don't have it where its braided like that mom did. ponytail fine, french braid not so manly.. My son has semi long hair( a lot longer then my hubby wants it to be).

Little boy with long hair?

There is nothing wrong with males ahving long hari. People have set there own stereotype for what a boy and girl should look like and since he has long hair, they feel they should say that. WHen he becomes older he wont look like a girl becuase he will be more defind in his physical structure so ignore what people say and love your child.

Little boy with long hair?

i would try using scisors instead of the clippers and maybe try getting someone else to do it but it seems more like a behavior issue to me.

Little boy with long hair?

My son gets regular haircuts but we keep his hair a little long because he has beautiful curls. I think you're doing the right thing. Scaring" a 2 y/o into doing anything may "cement" the fear. Keep doing what you're doing and try to help him accept the process. Trust me, your son will not go to kindergarten without having his hair cut. Many 2 y/olds have fears that seem irrational to adults. But if you think about it, its quite normal not to want something loud and unfamiliar near your head. Your son still thinks that his hair is a permanent part of him and this loud scary thing is cutting it off. People who say your son (and mine) "looks like a girl" are attaching way too much meaning to hair! A 2 y/o doesn't even understand yet what it means to be a boy...these people are putting their own gender identification issues on our kids. Don't listen to them, they're the ignorant ones, not you. You should not let these people say negative things about your son-especially in front of your son-they have no right to make him think there's something "wrong" with him.

Little boy with long hair?

This absolutely is about discipline!!! Haircuts are a part of life! Let him cry. He'll eventually accept it. Mark my words: Your boy is going to grow up to be a master manipulator.

Little boy with long hair?

Well, don't cut his hair with clippers then, afterall it feels like a bloody great big bee or wasp so no wonder natural fear sets in. If you don't feel comfortable with this then take him to a hair dresser to get them to do it. Make sure its a really nice woman though. Much less intimidating.

When I was 2 and a half, my mum used to trim my hair just to save a bit of money, fine, but once she took a chunk out of my ear and I would never let her near me again. And it would have done me no good to be forced into it which my mum didnt try.

You could let him cut his own hair with clippers. Afterall, its not like its complicated to do and he is in control and once he trusts it he might let you do it. Obviously be there with him but let him try it himself. Show him it cant hurt you by running them up and down your arm or his, but never push it too far. it might take a while to sort this out.

Little boy with long hair?

if he's not afraid of scissors, just let him grow it out and keep it neat and trimmed. eventually he'll get older and realize his fear of clippers is silly and perhaps want a hair cut. do not force him into doing something that upsets or scares him.

Little boy with long hair?

I wouldn't worry. My son has long hair and wants to grow it longer. It is hair, what does it matter. Long hair is the in thing here so that suits my son well. I looked at his pictures, that is NOT long hair. He is fine, ignore anyone that hassles you. Keep offering to cut it and eventually he will get over his fear

Little boy with long hair?

i don'y think how long his hair is is a problem.but he will have to get his hair cut at some point or it will be down to his knees. have you tried just trimming his hair with sissors or taking him to the hairdresser.i took my son to the hair dresser once a week and just explained he was scared and she let me take him in and sit to watch a few time until he was willing to get in the chair.he will always be scared if you let him

Little boy with long hair?

Maybe you could take him to the barbers to get his hair cut with a pair of scissors. Make a big deal about it and turn it into a "big boy" occasion. If all goes well and he sees that there's nothing to be afraid of he'll probably let you cut his hair from then on.

I also don't agree with holding him down and forcing a haircut on him. Why traumatize the little guy? If he listens and behaves well in every other aspect you obviously don't have a discipline problem..he's just scared of the clippers.

Little boy with long hair?

i think yes, it is bad to let it grow 'until HE'S ready'. you're the mom. maybe don't put him in front of the mirror or see the hair that is being cut. see if the beautician/barber can do it just with scissors.

i personally hate it seeing a little boy w/long hair. my personal opinion is that it looks terrible, that little boys should have short hair. like that Kate Hudson's kid, terrible!!

some places have hair cutting places for kids or a section for kids, call around your local hair places; maybe they can make it fun for him and less traumatizing.

good luck

Little boy with long hair?

My boys always had long hair, until they didn't want it anymore. But i cut there bangs and around there ears.I use to give my kids a sucker when i cut there hair. It kept there mind off the scissors and they were getting candy. It's worth a try, that is what worked for me when they went on there hair cut strike.

When i get my hair cut my eyte twiches?

every time i get a hair cut and they put the clipper near my temple my eye will start twitching very bad, do u kno y?

When i get my hair cut my eyte twiches?

Hair clipper makes eyes twitch

The involuntary twitching of the eyes is a sign of nervous involvement.

I guess that the hair clipper has a motor.

If so, the motor energy, which extends beyond the device, may irritate the nerves, because they are already lacking a nutrient to counterbalance the invading motor energy.

If the hair clipper is a manual device, it may be routinely cleaned with a chemical you may be allergic to, for the same reason as above.

There may be

1) Kalium Phosphorium lacking,

2) Silicea or

3) Magnesium Phosphoricum.

These relate to the Dinshah colors.

Which of the Dinshah colors do you prefer?

1) The Violet (which is a deep blue with a slightly red tint),

2) the Turquoise (which is a bright Turquoise between Blue and Green),

3) or the Orange (which is a bright and warm reddish orange)?

The Dinshah colors are available at through www.biochakra.com. They are used with a reading light and directed on the affected area.

You may also want to try

1) Vitamin B12,

2) Folic acid (a vitamin)

3) or Vitamin B2.

It may be worth a try to find out which color you prefer most and then match the result with one or both of the other groups by their numbers.

When the body has filled up its reserves of the lacking nutrient, the twitching should not occur when you have your hair cut.

The Materia Medica (English homeopathic information book) lists for twitching of the eye Magnesium Phosphoricum or Natrium Muriaticum.

All these helpers named here are nontoxic, may be you like to experiment and allow your body to refill its reservoirs.

The twitching should go away after some time giving your body what it needs.

Cordially,

OMFg my frickin gf she shaved me entirely!! wtf.. i was drunk last night and had a RUDE awakening.. i heard the sound of clippers and saw my right side of my hair shavd.. i think shes fking insane havin a fetish for baldness.. i warned her not to do anything but she shaved my pubes while i was alseep then proceded on my head. i drove her out of my apartment !! she told me she wanted to give me a surprise but ******* hell.. what a ***** she doesnt respect me i hate her!!!!!!! i didnt go out today cus i hate my hair it looks SICK what shoud i do!! should i dump her

Ladies what should i do with my hair help!?

Dump her! Don't disappear, ignore or avoid her. Give the relationship the dignity of an ending even if you can't explain your change of heart. Breaking up is hard but leaving someone wondering what happened or if it is really over is unforgivable!

Once you think of breaking up, do it, because if you think about it for a long time it could affect you. They can always tell when your feelings change and they might just dump you and make you feel more stupid.

Ladies what should i do with my hair help!?

hair grows back and no pubes is hot ....

Ladies what should i do with my hair help!?

I don't think that was too respectful of her, I mean, it's YOUR hair, you wouldn't have given her a haircut in her sleep. Don't dump her but tell her that it pissed you off and tell her that it is your body and if you don't like bald heads, then she shouldn't force you into it.

Clippers for my dog (poodle)?

Hi I have been trying to find out which clippers are the best of the best to cut poodle hair I am so mixed up I just want the best I dont care about the price.

I just dont want cheap ones which will not last as long thanks

Clippers for my dog (poodle)?

The best choice of clippers for grooming a poodle is one in which the blade can be detached, so you can use multiple size blades depending on what you want to accomplish. They are called "A-5" clippers and there are several manufacturers. Some of these include Oster and Andis. These will last for years with proper care. With the clipper purchase, you will get one #10 blade, which is too short for most poodle clipping, except the face. You may need to buy different size blades. A big question is: What size (variety) of poodle do you have? How do you want him/her to look when you are finished? What experience do you have with dog grooming using electric clippers? They can be very dangerous, and you can seriously injure your dog, if you do not handle them right. That doesn't mean that you can't learn to clip your own dog. It might be helpful to read some books/articles on clipping poodles (toy vs miniature vs standard). Also, the breeder you bought your dog from or a good mentor or groomer should be able to help you the first time or two. Good luck with you poodle. They are GREAT dogs and lots of fun!

Clippers for my dog (poodle)?

49.99 for a good one at petsmart no card rechargable made for grooming pets i got this for you from their website http://www.petsmart.com/global/search/se...

Clippers for my dog (poodle)?

i am a pet grooming salon manager and i've used andis clippers since my first groom. they cost around $130 and blades are extra but you'll probably never have to replace them and they are the easiest to work with.

Clippers for my dog (poodle)?

I know the industry of dog grooming has changed since I was active in it.... so some else may have a better idea. I used Oster A5 clippers. Cost is approx $120. with one blade. Then the blades you will need will run about 20 to 30 dollars each. These blades can be sharpened many times so last quite some time.

Here's a link: http://www.householdappliance.com/oster_...

I have the Golden A5

The Andis clipper mentioned above are good too.

How can I strengthen facial hair that was ripped out by a dull razor?

The shave job was done quickly and with haste. The hair should have been taken down more with clippers before a razor was used, but time did not allow. Now I've got a small patch in my beard that grows finer and slower than the rest. It happens to be in key part of the beard. I'm currently shaving it regularly to help in grow stronger and taking vitamin E. Any suggestions?

-Bruce B.

How can I strengthen facial hair that was ripped out by a dull razor?

You can't really. Because when it was riped out it created scar tissue which is unrepairable.

How can I strengthen facial hair that was ripped out by a dull razor?

Don't worry because it's not permanent. All you have to do is keep shaving it. It might take a little while.

Hair Question?

I Want to cut my hair but need to decide which clipper number best suits my needs. When You go to a barber shop, you sometimes see a poster with diffrent clipper cuts on the sides. Do you have any links to posters like that or sites that show pics of of ppl with clipper sizes/cuts on the sides. Thanks!!!

Hair Question?

you're cutting your shag?

dont! lol atleast wait 'til summer

i'd go with the 2 if u want the short look like justin timberlake or a 4 for the tom cruise short look or a 1 for the k-fed/beckham look or a blowout like the gotti's

u could also be more creative than a buzz and go with a fade or a crew or a hawk :)

have fun!

just incase here are the guard sizes

1 =1/8inch (basically a shadow of stubble)

2 =1/4inch (my personal favorite)

3 =3/8inch (a bit awkard and porkeypinish)

4 =1/2inch (best to do different styles with)

5 =5/8inch (don't even bother going this long you'll look wierd + it would be best for you barber to use scissors)

if i were you i'd get a cut like ashton kutcher in flight boys super short kinda millitary inspired but still long enough to mess around with... http://imstars.aufeminin.com/stars/fan/D...

What Causes Body Hair Regrowth to be Thicker/Faster?

Hey there. Does anyone know what causes hair to grow in thicker/faster when stimulated by shaving? I was going to do general body hair maintenance, as it's starting to get a little too thick on my legs. As a male though, having some degree of body hair is acceptable. If I just run the clippers on my razor over my legs, which would not hit the roots/skin like taking the normal blades to it would, will it still regrow in thicker? Thanks.

What Causes Body Hair Regrowth to be Thicker/Faster?

I hope this makes sense...If you look at an individual hair it is kind of tapered at the very end. It is thicker at the root. So if you shave or cut the end off, what grows back is more stubbly. So either way, it will be more stubbly, not really thicker.Hope this helps.

I keep my hair short. When it grows out like 1 1/2 weeks later my scalp gets itchy til I cut it agai

I keep my cut real short, like a number 0 - 1 on the clipper. I usually have my hair cut every week. If I wait too long, like 1 /12-2 weeks my scalp gets itchy. Once I cut my hair again it does not itch anymore. My son閳ユ獨 hair grows slower than mine but he gets the same issue. Neither one of us has dandruff or any skin conditions.

I keep my hair short. When it grows out like 1 1/2 weeks later my scalp gets itchy til I cut it again. Why?

Are you washing your hair at least every other day and not with bar soap, but a good shampoo? Daily won't hurt. You should condition as well, Even though hair is short, it's still hair and require moisture, proteins etc, found in good shampoos not just soap.

Never use soap on hair and I don't think much of the combo body wash/shampoo products either.

If you are already doing this, then try Head and Shoulders for Dry Scalp.

If that fails try, Scalpicin.

If that fails see a dermatologist.

Good luck to you.!

I keep my hair short. When it grows out like 1 1/2 weeks later my scalp gets itchy til I cut it again. Why?

consult a dermatologist this is not a normal condition that can be corrected by otc medicines

I keep my hair short. When it grows out like 1 1/2 weeks later my scalp gets itchy til I cut it again. Why?

i have no clue

I keep my hair short. When it grows out like 1 1/2 weeks later my scalp gets itchy til I cut it again. Why?

when ur hair grows u produce dandruff which makes ur scout dry and itchy. also stop thinkn itll itch or else everytime it grows back, itll itch automatically. Theres no need to keep cutn it try cream and shampoo that doesnt cause dry skin on ur scalpt.

I'd really be able to like to cut my 1.5 year old son's hair at home but I have no idea ho

I have a set of clippers at home (the electric ones). His hair grows fast and I can't imagine taking him to the hair cutting place all of the time. I want it in a normal boy hair cut, shorter on the sides and back with a little more on top that I can spike up.

How do you use electric clippers and "fade" it up the back? How in the world do they do that and make it even? Help?

I'd really be able to like to cut my 1.5 year old son's hair at home but I have no idea how to fade it....?

your son should have a lower curvature of his head that you can feel in the back. Fade is going from one level to the next, so, the keep your 1.5 year olds hair soft, I would take a 2-3 or 3-4. You out line the bottom without a guard. You start with the highest number first and as you draw the clippers up, you go straight up against the head until you hit the bend in the skull, then you lift the clippers straight up from there. It is a natural stopping point. Then convert to the shorter clippers and do the bottom portion again pulling the clippers away when you hit the point you want to fade.

Does this make sense?

I'd really be able to like to cut my 1.5 year old son's hair at home but I have no idea how to fade it....?

They make attachments that will do this with clippers.

Do you buzzed your son's hair ?when & how long ?do you buzzed his hair with 0 blade of clip

Do you buzzed your son's hair ?when %26amp; how long ?do you buzzed his hair with 0 blade of clipper?

Iuse a 4 on the top and a 2 on the sides and back to blend it better. Then I spike it a little. My son is 2. On my husband i use a 6 on top and 4 on sides and back.

Do you buzzed your son's hair ?when %26amp; how long ?do you buzzed his hair with 0 blade of clipper?

i use a 2 on my b/f

Do you buzzed your son's hair ?when %26amp; how long ?do you buzzed his hair with 0 blade of clipper?

10 minutes 0 blades of clipper

HOW LONG WOULD Clipper blades OR HAIRL BLADES LEAVE YOURE HAIR?

FOR EXAMPLE YOU TELL THE BARBER I" WHANT A 3 ALL AROUNG" HOW LONG WOULD YOURE HAIR BE AFTER ITS CUT? BUT I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW HOW LONG IT WOULD BE IF YOU ASK FOR A 4 ALL AROUND? LIKE INCHES CINTEMERTERS ETC... OR *** MANY HAIR BLADE LENGHTS.

HOW LONG WOULD Clipper blades OR HAIRL BLADES LEAVE YOURE HAIR?

well they all go in 1/8th of an inch sizes, so #1 is 1/8, #2 is 1/4, #3 is 3/8, #4 is 1/2 in and so on...

HOW LONG WOULD Clipper blades OR HAIRL BLADES LEAVE YOURE HAIR?

Well it looks different by the thinkness of the hair.A three sometimes looks like a two on thinner hair.I would try the three on the sides first .They can show you a test spot at the salon. The barber can start with the larger of the blades and show you.the blades do have length numbers on them but the apperance is different depending on the thickness and color of the hair.

Hairloss advice, ladies, please help!!! I look ugly with a shaved head but I can't stand dealin

I am a 33 yr old handsome guy (or so I've been told) but in the last few months, my receding hairline has gotten extremely high and I have now started thinning. I would compare my male pattern baldness to that of James Woods. All my life I have always styled my hair 'up' spiky or pompadour style but now I can't anymore, it just looks BAD! And when I comb it down or have bangs I look like a geek and you can tell I am trying to hide my hairline. I have shaved my head many times in the past, both totally bald (scary, as I am really pale and have a huge dent in my head) and also just buzzed (a #1 with the clippers). I honestly like having my hair buzzed. I grow a goatee and have a little bad boy image going on plus I don't have to deal with fussing with my hair. I know I shouldn't care what other people think but every time I buzz my head people tell me I look terrible and looked so much better with hair. I just don't have the right head for baldness. If i shave my head I look bad. Help!

Hairloss advice, ladies, please help!!! I look ugly with a shaved head but I can't stand dealing with my hair!

Not a lady, but, I am a barber who deals with this issue constantly with my clients. As several have mentioned, do NOT try to cover it. A shorter style will be much more attractive for you. You mentioned a #1 clipper. May I suggest a 2 on the sides blended up and scissor cutting the top the width of your barber's fingers? This will give you a bit of coverage ( you won't see skin on the sides), not make you look desparate, and will give you enough length to give it a little direction, as you mentioned, think James Woods.

Nioxin is a salon available line that will help as well.

Brushing you hair/massaging your scalp. Remember the old stories of women brushing their hair 100 strokes before bedtime. Turns out that makes sense. Stimulating the scalp increases circulation, keeps sebacious oil production at peak performance levels, and keeps pore from cloggin which would cause fallout.

If these changes have just recently come along consider the sources of balding: Diet, stress, genetics, and hygene. I doubt hygene changed, genetics can't be helped, so maybe reduce junk intake and take some time for yourself or to blow off steam?

Hairloss advice, ladies, please help!!! I look ugly with a shaved head but I can't stand dealing with my hair!

maybe you could consider a solution such as www.coolpiece.com

Hairloss advice, ladies, please help!!! I look ugly with a shaved head but I can't stand dealing with my hair!

The biggest piece of advice I can give you is not to try and cover it up. Girls will notice that a lot more than if you have a receding hairline and wear your hair normally. Just keep a close cut; there's nothing you can really do. If you grow your hair out longer (to wear you can create the pompadour) it is far easier to notice the thinning hair than with the close cut. Embrace it and try not to let it get to you. I know it must be a very sensitive thing going on, but just think about it; at least you're a healthy man that doesn't have cancer or anything. Your life could be far worse! :)

Hairloss advice, ladies, please help!!! I look ugly with a shaved head but I can't stand dealing with my hair!

I will suggest you to use a line of hair products that it's called NIOCIN this are generic products that use the prescription made by great tricologists (speacilists of loss of hair). They have a huge line of products that actually help my husband with his hair loss. You can buy them in all mayor chain pharmacies.

Hairloss advice, ladies, please help!!! I look ugly with a shaved head but I can't stand dealing with my hair!

Who cares what others think???????? Tell them to kiss your booty. Its all in your head, or should I say NOT on your head. Its ok man. It happens,. You are cool no matter what is on your head, so get over it and be happy. You know it takes more muscles to frown with than it does to smile with.........right?

Can I shave my dog with a regular set of clippers?

So I have a set of clippers that I use to cut my hair. Its so hot outside and I wanna shave my dog but I just didnt know if I could use the clippers. Are they strong enough to cut her thick hair?

Can I shave my dog with a regular set of clippers?

Yes, you can use regular hair clippers. We used them for grooming at the veterinary clinic I worked in. For a poodle type clip, I would recommend a #7 or a #10 blade, depending on how short you want the coat. I do want to advise you, dogs don't need to be clipped for heat. They are sometimes better off leaving the fur to insulate against the heat. Another reason to not clip, or to not shave real close, is that dogs can suffer from sun burn just like us. Many breeds with shaggy bangs - like Old English Sheepdogs - should not have their bangs clipped, because they have sensitive eyes. Best to check w/ your vet or groomer, first, as to how your breed is best groomed.

Can I shave my dog with a regular set of clippers?

I guess you could try and see if it works.

Can I shave my dog with a regular set of clippers?

You should be able to shave her, you need to make sure you do NOT take her coat all the way down because then you have a chance of her sunburning. Take your time and shave carefully so you do not cut her either.

Can I shave my dog with a regular set of clippers?

depending on the type of dog you have and how much hair you have to clip, your regular clipper won't work (it will heat up too quickly). Clippers for dogs are also wider, come with different size blades. Also, as you shave the dog, you need to cool the blade with a lubricating oil spray.

You can always try using your clippers but make sure you don't burn your dog!

Can I shave my dog with a regular set of clippers?

probably..just check clippers often..they get hot and may burn the dog..spray blades often with alchol to cool them down..touch your cheek to blade..if its too hot on your cheek, its too hot on your dogs skin

Can I shave my dog with a regular set of clippers?

yes....but it is harder than you think you can make one hell of a mess of the dogs coat take her to a groomer it won't cost alot to have it done correctly ...the legs are the worse part to do...i have had dogs for 20 years long coated ones that the oldies get clipped but i cant do i tried and really made a mess of it so mine go to a groomer it costs me 鎷?0 every 6 months so very cheap and at least the dog looks and feels better....

Can I shave my dog with a regular set of clippers?

It should work, my mom tried on my dog! Takes a while though cause its hard to shave off the hair, make sure its not so close to the skin, and clippers heat up really fast so then you should take a break to leat the clipper cool down every now and then. Good luck!! if it doesnt work you can go out and buy some doggy clippers instead (:

edit : oh and its kind of hard if your dogs scared of it! A tip i looked up was if your dogs scared of the noise and the feeling is that to take a automatic toothbrush (if you have one) and put it on ur dog to let it get use to the sound and the feeling (i think). Our doggies small and we put it on top of a table to shave her, so she doesnt run away %26amp; its high so she cant jump off, you wouldnt want your dog running away while ur trying to cut his/her hair! Good luck again (:

Can I shave my dog with a regular set of clippers?

yes you can but you shouldn't use clippers they might get stuck but then again its hot outside so yeah go for it!!!

Can I shave my dog with a regular set of clippers?

u probley can but u would have to let them sit and cool down b/c of the thick fur

Can I shave my dog with a regular set of clippers?

regular clippers are not strong enough for her hair type. And people clippers are designed differently than dog clippers for different hair types. I would nnot even use a cheap pair of dog clippers to cut my dog's hair. to reduce incident shave with the growth of the hair, if you shave it backward then you will skin him bald and you have a greater chance of knicking him.

Can I shave my dog with a regular set of clippers?

YEP

Can I shave my dog with a regular set of clippers?

You can just be careful to not clip your doggie or shave him or her down to far cause they could get a sunburn.

Can I shave my dog with a regular set of clippers?

Yes of course

Can I shave my dog with a regular set of clippers?

***NO***!!!!!!!!

I dyed my hair & my scalp is irritated is there anything I can put on it?

I got a bob haircut today and I think the irritation is because my hairstylist used a clippers on the nape of my hair line. It's only in that area. I've been using the same hair for about a year now without a problem.

I dyed my hair %26amp; my scalp is irritated is there anything I can put on it?

Hi, Try aloe vera...it will be sticky but will help. there is also something called emu oil but it is hard to buy if you don't live in Australia.

Good luck

I dyed my hair %26amp; my scalp is irritated is there anything I can put on it?

I went and bought some aloe vera containing menthol usually used for sunburn and it's definitely giving me some relief. Report It

I dyed my hair %26amp; my scalp is irritated is there anything I can put on it?

try to use some baby powder where the irritation is?

I dyed my hair %26amp; my scalp is irritated is there anything I can put on it?

Vaseline, afta shave or alcohol

I dyed my hair %26amp; my scalp is irritated is there anything I can put on it?

keep that area clean and dry. dab peroxide on it and then apply an antibiotic ointment (neosporn). don't put a band aid on it, just allow it to breathe.

I dyed my hair %26amp; my scalp is irritated is there anything I can put on it?

You should use a lil alchol it will burn but the scratches will go away far faster then other more expensive products. Also u can use triple antibiotic ointment at night so and wash it off in the morning. :)

Need help,I cant spike my hair, it keeps falling down!?

what is the best way to spike your hair? Everytime I trying spiking it, it falls down in a couple of minutes. I tryed everything- gel, glue, hairspray, hairdryer, but nothing works.

I have short hair, does it matter when you go for a haircut, if the hairdresser uses clippers, or scissors to cut your hair?

Also I bleach my hair, I dont know if that effects it. thanks

Need help,I cant spike my hair, it keeps falling down!?

I had a friend that used gelatin (the plain cooking kind). You couldn't bend it with a hammer! He had long hair too.

Need help,I cant spike my hair, it keeps falling down!?

I can not spike mine either. Any advice?

Need help,I cant spike my hair, it keeps falling down!?

try a mix of it all or try using JAM or PROSTYLE JEL the clear kind. it might be that u r using the wrong product(s)

Need help,I cant spike my hair, it keeps falling down!?

your hair still may be too long. Try using mouse. and if that doesn't work, you may need to take desperate measures and somehow keep your hair hanging down until the product dries.

Need help,I cant spike my hair, it keeps falling down!?

Gatsby Wax, wax, bygon sticky papers. GREAT!

Need help,I cant spike my hair, it keeps falling down!?

Your problem is caused by gravity.

The solution is to train as an astronaut and live in space.

Need help,I cant spike my hair, it keeps falling down!?

if you use hair wax that will keep it up unless you flatten it out with your hand or by laying on it, it will also come out easy if you want to wash it out when you go and have a shower. it also doesn't make much of a difference the way you get your hair cut or anything so don't worry about that!!!! just use hair wax my friend uses it all the time and it doesn't come down until you want it to come down!!!!!

hope that helps from stuartmack46687156

Need help,I cant spike my hair, it keeps falling down!?

maybe your hair is long.

Need help,I cant spike my hair, it keeps falling down!?

It works with short hair.

IF u have long hair it will fall auto matically

Need help,I cant spike my hair, it keeps falling down!?

Try butch wax. They sell it at barber shops. The stuff is used for flat tops, but it keeps hair wherever you put it no matter what style it's in.

Dog hair........HELP!!!!!!!?

My dog is half beagle half chihuahua. he sheds so much that it is really starting to make me ill. i vacuum almost everyday and there is still hair everywhere. i've taken him to petsmart and had him de-shedded and 2 days ago i took clippers to him and made his hair very short. what else can i do to make this stop before i get rid of the dog that my kids adore. i love him but i find hair on the kitchen table, i guess it floats around in the air. PLEASE HELP!!

Dog hair........HELP!!!!!!!?

Wow and I thought my German Shepherd was bad with shedding. LOL I feel your pain! Have you had him checked by the vet? Even for the breeds, that seems like an excessive amount of shedding, and you should rule out medical causes.

If it's not medically related, then how often do you bathe the dog? More frequent baths may help. I also bought a device called the Shed Ender (as seen on TV, LOL) and you use it as often as you need or want to. It's a comb that will not only groom the top coat but also the undercoat, thus removing the loose furs and preventing them from being shed all over your house. Good chore for the kids. LOL

Dog hair........HELP!!!!!!!?

wow i'm sry that sucks. go to a vet and ask.

Dog hair........HELP!!!!!!!?

You should have thought about this BEFORE you got the dog. Both Beagles and Chihuahuas shed -- it's in their nature [genes, whatever]. That's why breeders and other people alike always say to read up on the breeds(s) before you get the actual dog.

Dog hair........HELP!!!!!!!?

That's just what short haired dogs do. I don't think there is any remedy.

Dog hair........HELP!!!!!!!?

WELCOME TO DOGDOM.

there are vitamins you can get at pet supply stores to help with the shedding. i don't know how well they work, so you may want to put a call into your vet for a recommendation.

avoid anything HARTZ.

of my 5 dogs, 2 are snow dogs and i use a furminator on them everyday.

Dog hair........HELP!!!!!!!?

Have you ever vacuumed your dog? It might take a while for him to get used to it, but my dog loves it, so does my cat. You should get a curry comb(rubber, used for horses) and teach your kids to brush him, they love him, tell them the alternative. Having an air filter can help too. You could also get him checked for allergy's,beagles are prone to them.

Why doesn't my Wahl clippers work?

They just stop working

Now I can't cut my hair

What can be wrong with the clippers

(haircut)

Why doesn't my Wahl clippers work?

You need to use the oil that came with them. You can't just keep on clipping your hair without Wahl maintenance. Also, make sure you plug them in a working electrical socket.

What Should I do with my facial hair?

Okay to the women out there, i am 21 and wondering what most of you prefer facial hair or not. And if you like it what kind, goatee/mustache, or just goatee, or beard. Also as a side note what kind of hair do you like, short (like clippers on the side) or shaggy like the "surfer" look.

What Should I do with my facial hair?

I personally like a man with a goatie and short hair on sides longer on top. Another eye catcher for me is the dark with the blonde highlights. Adorable. Mmmmmm... :-D Just my preference.

What Should I do with my facial hair?

goatee %26amp; mustache!

What Should I do with my facial hair?

facial hair is sooo sexy to me! i love when my hubby has a gottee!

What Should I do with my facial hair?

I no exacually. DOn't try 2 look as hairy as possible. You should shave your face with a crew cut. But u can have a mustash if wanted. Men look great like this. Don't go for the shaggy look! That is a good fashion tip. Try 2 look clean cut so women don't think u look dirty (as in messy). So don't go for much facial hair as possible. What look even greater is nice clothes.

Should have on hand:

shampoo

shaving cream and razor or an electric razor.

COnditioner

Comb

One more thing. You can get a wax and it makes a good makeover.

What Should I do with my facial hair?

i love the clean cut...dark brown hair....with tiny sideburns

i dont really like goatees they are stupid, mustaches hurt to much when u kiss them, and beards just make a man look old. so i guess i dont really like facial hair, just sideburns

:)

What Should I do with my facial hair?

no facial hair at all except for eye brows. facial hair is just gross!!!

Do you need special clippers to shave your head bald?

i used normal clippers i bought from wal-mart to shave my head without using any guards, but i can still see little dots where my hair was and i still feel a little bit of hair...how come bald people have shiny heads and you cant see where their hair originally grew? do i need special clippers?

Do you need special clippers to shave your head bald?

A razor will get it shorter, but I think you should tweeze!

Do you need special clippers to shave your head bald?

no u need a blade like a shaving blade

Do you need special clippers to shave your head bald?

A question about waxing--is it more painful with longer hair?

I am getting my chest and bikini area waxed before heading to the beach next weekend. Would it be less painful if I go over those areas with clippers first to make the hair a little shorter? The last time I got it done it was very painful.

Also, Is there anything I can do to make it less painful, such as taking painkillers beforehand?

A question about waxing--is it more painful with longer hair?

Yes, trim first. The shorter the hair is, the less tension there is on the follicle as it is being pulled out. At the same time, it has to be 1/4" long in order to be pulled out by the wax, so be careful not to go too short! But definitely, yes, it hurts less if it is shorter.

Also, most salons offer some variant of skin-number that you can put on about 30 minutes before getting waxed, so you cannot feel it as much. Painkillers won't really do much for the kind of pain you get from getting waxed, but topical numbing creams work well. I have one called "No Scream Cream", and it works like a charm! Just ask your salon and I'm sure they can either provide you with one or tell you where to get one. :)

A question about waxing--is it more painful with longer hair?

pain from waxing is usually dependent on thickness of roots of hair

A question about waxing--is it more painful with longer hair?

Trim the hair first, then do it. Trust me, after the first few times, it doesn't hurt. It really isn't that bad.

A question about waxing--is it more painful with longer hair?

The hair lenght does not matter, either way it will be painful, hair is hair.

But take two aspirin before going.

A question about waxing--is it more painful with longer hair?

You can trim your hair but do not too short otherwise the wax will not pull all of the hair out and you will have stubble. Try taking Tylenol or Advil at least 1 hr before you go. With each waxing your hair will grow in finer and your skin will be less sensitive.

Girls hair from long to short, (more)?

For anyone who has ever gone from long hair to really short hair, if you were scared, what helped you finally do it?

I have this strong desire to get my hair cropped really short, like with clippers in the back, yet I'm afraid I won't like the results.

Girls hair from long to short, (more)?

omg i have long hair and then i just got tried of it so i did a bob cut .

at first i was really scare but then i was like if i never try it how can i like it

at first u might not like it but than u are going to love it

try to pic a haircut that goes with you face shape

just go to the best hair salon and bring a pic of the haircut u want

i just got my hair cut on sunday

Girls hair from long to short, (more)?

GO FOR IT!

I used to have gorgeous long brown hair that was naturally curly.. however, I had a lot of headaches with it, so I got it all chopped off really short like halle berry only longer bangs! lol

I wasn't too scared because supposedly - me with an oval face, it's supposed to suit any hairdo!

So I went and got it done and I LOVED the results!

It's so much easier to wash - and - go to work / whatever.

I love it, and i'm sure you will too!

good luck, and happy clipping!

x

Girls hair from long to short, (more)?

well, i was all nervous, but then i realized, i mean - it is just hair - it'll grow back!

and you can always do little by little - cut a little, and then cut a little more if you like that. short hair looks great on a lot of people, and plus, it's just easier, so just go for it!

Girls hair from long to short, (more)?

Mines is real long,I'm half Black an Brazilian, but anyway I don't want to cut mine. So,So scared, cause soon as I see them long hair styles on T.V. I'm going to be mad,but I think Rhianna hair style is Pretty.....

Girls hair from long to short, (more)?

I am 25 years old. I had super long waist length hair for my entire life. A few months ago, I just got sick of the whole process of detangling and caring for long hair. I went to a local salon and told them to chop it all off to a short, layered pixie cut. There was a huge pile of hair on the floor. I can't explain how light and free I felt. I have had a few times that I wanted the long, romantic hair back but it is fleeting. I love my short cut. I can wash it, gel it up for a messy look, or comb it down for a sleek professional look. I never regret it. I think every woman should try it once in her life. If she hates it, she can grow it back long.

How to keep your beard the same length as the hair on your head?

im just wondering if there is a way to keep ALL of my hair the same length, similar to the way justin timberlake does his...its all one length, i hate shaving, and if i only had to shave my neck it'd be a big help, plus

another question, how do these guys keep there beard at like (what i call) the 2 day stage...my clippers i use for my hair wont go short enough to trim my beard untill about 4-5 days and getting pretty mountanieer looking

so #1...only way to have all of hair the same length just buzz your head all the time along with beard

#2 how do you keep 2 day beard length

How to keep your beard the same length as the hair on your head?

alot of measuring

How to keep your beard the same length as the hair on your head?

you're going to have to buy a good set of clippers and a guard that go down to the length you want. see if they make a set of guards for the clippers you have now. buy them and test the lengths longest to shortest. you are going to have to spend a few extra bucks and get a good pair if you're going to do this often.

Any of you cut your dogs hair yourself?

Any of you groom/cut your dog's hair yourself?

I am thinking of taking clippers to my dog's hair myself. I like my dog's hair kinda log so I was thinking of using a number 4.

Any suggestions about cutting, clippering, cleanup, anything about making it easy for me and my puppy?

thanks!

Any of you cut your dogs hair yourself?

Yes, but VERY carefully.

Any of you cut your dogs hair yourself?

i try once and my poor baby dint wanna go outside

Any of you cut your dogs hair yourself?

There are plenty of books and videos on grooming your own dog. It will give you an idea where to start and teach you how to do it so that no one gets hurt :)

Any of you cut your dogs hair yourself?

Unless you know what your doing then put the clippers away!!!

I do my own Goldens feet from time to time but it took me a long time to learn how to do it correctly!

Any of you cut your dogs hair yourself?

We groom our own dogs, but it took time to learn how to do it correctly. First, we had to learn what a properly groomed example of our breed should look like. Next, we were shown what tools we needed and how to use them correctly. Last, we had to practice over and over until we got it right. There were some bad cuts on occasion, but we learned from that.

By the way, we learned from our breeders, and from other folks who exhibit our breed at dog shows.

Any of you cut your dogs hair yourself?

i cut my dogs hair all the time. do it outside. just easier that way.

Any of you cut your dogs hair yourself?

i use to cut my cockers hair when he was alive..it was fun..bonded us but i would advise wearing a face mask because the hair tends to get ALL over you and up into your nose so you are constantly brushing your arm at your nose..the hair will also make you itchy..but it is fun!!

make sure you do it outside or on a hard floor..not carpet..for easy clean up.

Any of you cut your dogs hair yourself?

I've owned several dogs that I cut the hair on and I cut my own hair.

The thing to do is educate yourself on how to do it by reading some library books, checking out items you can find online and any videos you can get your hands on.

Then be prepared to make some mistakes along the way. You won't get it right until about the 7th or 8th time you do it. So my suggestion would be to always cut it longer than you normally would. That way if you mess up, a groomer can even things out and let you know what you didn wrong.

The dogs I've owned that I cut myself were toy poodles, cocker spaniels and mutts. I wasn't into showing and I lived in warm climates, so field cuts were the order of the day. I spen alot of scissor time on the mutts and poodles.

If you can get your hand on a FlowBee, do so. The dogs love the cool feeling if and when they get used to the noise the vacuum makes.

At any rate, good luck.

Any of you cut your dogs hair yourself?

My daughter is a professional groomer,,, hehehehehe

Any of you cut your dogs hair yourself?

i always cut my dogs hair myself, its more economic. Be careful! You might cut your fingers!!

Any of you cut your dogs hair yourself?

We used to have a sheepdog that we clipped regularly. Just buzzed him down!

Any of you cut your dogs hair yourself?

yea i do it all the tim ein the summer. cuz we have a chow and we shave her. we shave her outside and then we pick up the pieces of hair that is in clumps or what we can see. when u cut ur dogs hair dont go all the way down to the skin. cuz it will cut ur dogs skin. and we also bring her to the groomers to get her done.

Can you get hiv from clippers at the barber shop?

I was at the barber shop and he was shaving my face with some clippers, he went over a hair bump on my cheek and it bust. I was bleeding but none was coming out. I did not notice it until i got home when i cleaned it out with hydrogen peroxide. Do I have anything to worry about?

Can you get hiv from clippers at the barber shop?

Hello,

There has to be a blood to blood transfer. When hiv is exposed in the air, it gets weaker that means less chance of infection.

This is a very, very low risk i wouldn't worry about this. But if you are in doubt and to stop worrying and so as to not be stressed i would say have the test so just you'll know.

And if you do, have a general test, because there are other things than can be causght not just Hiv/Aids.

Can you get hiv from clippers at the barber shop?

not at all.

you need to actually exchange blood with an infected person... and alot of blood.

you're ok.

Can you get hiv from clippers at the barber shop?

THE HIV VIRUS HAS TO ENTER YOUR BLOOD STREAM. IF YOU HAD AN OPEN CUT AND THE CLIPPERS HAD BLOOD ON THEM FROM AN HIV POSITIVE PERSON THEN YES IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING YOU COULD HAVE SOMETHING TO WORRY ABOUT. WORRY MORE IF AN HIV POSITIVE PERSON USED YOUR TOOTH BRUSH. IF YOU HAVE BLEEDING GUMS AND THE OTHER PERSON HAD HIV, THEN WORRY. IT IS THE EXCHANGE OF BODILY FLUIDS THAT YOU WORRY ABOUT.

Have a pair of clippers, but my dog is so thick, they won't make any progress. Are there WIDE T

I have a great clippers, but my dog's hair is really thick, like a sheep. Are there blades that can handle my problem??? HELP!

Have a pair of clippers, but my dog is so thick, they won't make any progress. Are there WIDE TOOTHED blades?

WHAT KIND of clippers are you using?

i can get my clippers through anything, it might be the blade that is dull and what kind of dog are you grooming

if you wash the hair that might help, also spray the blade with lube every two minutes that will also help the blade get through

Have a pair of clippers, but my dog is so thick, they won't make any progress. Are there WIDE TOOTHED blades?

Yup- you are going to need a sheep shearers- you can get them at most livestock stores. They can be expensive, and weigh about 5-8 lbs, but they get through anything (horses, sheep, siberian huskies winter coat, etc)

These clippers usually vibrate a lot to cut the hair so your dog would look like a shorn sheep, but that is easily remedied with a touch up with a normal clippers.

Have a pair of clippers, but my dog is so thick, they won't make any progress. Are there WIDE TOOTHED blades?

Hi,

I know exactly what your dealing with. My dog is part newfin. What I did in the summer was cut as much hair off with scissors that I could and then I just made sure to oil the clipper blades and take your time cutting through it cause the dogs can get clipper burns.

Have a pair of clippers, but my dog is so thick, they won't make any progress. Are there WIDE TOOTHED blades?

I bought professional dog clippers and they have 4 combs to use on various areas. It works great. Try Petco or other pet store.

The clippers pay for themselves. You need to buy the "oil" for the blades too, it keeps them from getting overheated by the clogged hair.

Have a pair of clippers, but my dog is so thick, they won't make any progress. Are there WIDE TOOTHED blades?

Well, sometimes depending on the mats nothing will cut through you could have to go under them against the skin. You wouldn't be looking for a wide tooth in that case but tiny ones like a #30. Most people stay around the #15-#10 range though. These are numbers for blades that go on the Oster (like the A-5) or an Andies clipper. I suggest you get a 2 speed Oster from what you are saying and yes blades do come with wide teeth, even skip tooth. Have a look bellow at the links, but shop around for price once you find what your looking for.

Have a pair of clippers, but my dog is so thick, they won't make any progress. Are there WIDE TOOTHED blades?

You might try a skip tooth blade. Skip tooth blades feed more hair into the cutting blade which makes them ideal for pre-bathing grooming, especially for removing matted haircoats. Then after the bath, you can go over it with a finishing blade.

Can you bring nail clippers on a plane?

Just regular, small, metal nail clippers....

Also what about metal hair clips and bobby pins?

Can you bring nail clippers on a plane?

Yes, all are allowed. There was a time when some security agents would let you go through with the nail clipper if you agree to let them break off the nail file (the pointy thing that's often attached to the clipper) and throw it away. They have since relaxed the rule and let them through.

Can you bring nail clippers on a plane?

I don't think you can bring a nail clippers, security is really tight nowadays. I don't know about hair clips and pins.

Can you bring nail clippers on a plane?

nail clippers no.

Can you bring nail clippers on a plane?

No, you can't.

No to ALL.

Can you bring nail clippers on a plane?

You can call your local airport or go on an airline website and either they can tell you or on the airline website usually they have a list of things you can take on a plane now

http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/p... (i think this site might be old though)

Cause i know nail clippers u cant

Can you bring nail clippers on a plane?

I think you can pack into your check-in luggage but cannot carry them in your hand luggage

Can you bring nail clippers on a plane?

Per the following websites, the answer would appear to be, loosely, only if you don't mind giving them up to the off objector (particularly apparently if traveling internationally).

According to Tropic Temper (http://glendalarke.blogspot.com/2007/09/... there's a history for problems with nail clippers in Singapore. According to http://archive.salon.com/tech/letters/20... you might've, in 2001 (and if you were a senior perhaps?...), been relieved of your clippers in the US. As of 9/26/2006 however, according to the Transportation Security Administration (http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/p... nail clippers are allowed at least on domestic flights--a cursory search did not reveal how standardized or not this list is internationally.

In the final analysis, I would personally check them just to avoid the possible appearance of non-compliance if I was flying internationally and probably would domestically too, although, according the US Government, they appear to be permitted.

Happy Traveling,

Can you bring nail clippers on a plane?

Suggest you put the items listed in your CHECKED IN baggage.

Do NOT put them in your hand carry baggage.

Can you bring nail clippers on a plane?

After 9/11, all nail clippers, scissors, knives, and tools were totally banned. In the past year (as of 9/26/2006) the restrictions were reduced. They now SPECIFICALLY ALLOW nail clippers and any scissors with blades shorter than 4 inches.

See the TSA official list for more details.

Am a guy and and have longish hair, shall i have a clipper cut?

My hair is quite long, a bit covering my ears and most of my forehead, my girlfriend asked me to have it cut short, and i was considering a clippercut, do you have any ideas? and what clippercuts numbers are good for a good sized head? i have no problem getting it short

Am a guy and and have longish hair, shall i have a clipper cut?

Try looking on here with your girlfriend and pick out a hairstyle together. If you can give the stylist details they can recreate the style for you.

Am a guy and and have longish hair, shall i have a clipper cut?

Cut it short. Long hair is stupid..

Am a guy and and have longish hair, shall i have a clipper cut?

I f you want a regular mens hair cut tell them to do a 2 or 3 guard on the bottom and scissor cut the top. If its bulky have them texture it! Also have them point cut the bangs.

Am a guy and and have longish hair, shall i have a clipper cut?

I have longish hair for a bloke too. In my experience, I get more female attention when I have longer hair, I take this to mean that I suit it better that way.

Am a guy and and have longish hair, shall i have a clipper cut?

if you think it will look good. I think it will so try it out. remember... hair grows back!

Am a guy and and have longish hair, shall i have a clipper cut?

whatever floats your boat

Am a guy and and have longish hair, shall i have a clipper cut?

Do not get a clippercut. I prefer a guy with longer hair. It's sexier and i like playing with mens hair as well , messing it up and stuff.........do not cut it.

Am a guy and and have longish hair, shall i have a clipper cut?

I personally like longer hair on men, depending on the person, of course. Only cut your hair if YOU want to cut it. Don't do it for your girlfriend, because if you don't like it after it's cut, you'll resent her for "making" you cut it.
