Should I feel guilty about only tipping my hair cutter a buck or none at all?

My hair is actually much shorter than my avatar and the only reason I don't cut it myself is because I have coarse Asian hair that ruins cheap clippers. It takes 10 minutes tops to cut my hair at Supercuts. Should I feel guilty about tipping only a buck or not tipping at all.

I'd like to hear from hairdressers please.

I usually tip $3, but that's cause I always end up lookin fresh.

If you're hair is nothing special as you say, then $1 is fine.

Now if you're a woman, that's a whole different story.

i didnt even know u have to tip them..lol

Apparently you feel guilty about it since you asked. The most we could say is no if you understand me lol.

Should I feel guilty about only tipping my hair cutter a buck or none at all?

Yeah just like any business they like tips. Tells them you appreciate the work they have done.

well it always nice to give i would say 3 buck is fair

I'm not a hairdresser, but I can't imagine tipping that much more at a Supercuts. Just double the tax for the tip amount :) In most states, that's more than 10% ha!

Yes, because your hairdresser is expected to pay taxes on their tips, and so she/he had to pay the IRS a percentage of what you should have tipped her regardless if you did tip her or not.

Both men and women should tip at least 10%

of the final value of their haircut's price.

If I were your hair dresser and you gave me a

lousy tip, I'd be sure to give you a lousy cut

the next time you came back to me. And, I'd

be sure to use my bluntest scissors *muahaha*

If your hair ruins clippers, think of how

much wear and tear it does on their scissors.

Those do have to be replaced and sharpened.

Also, Asian hair is notorious for it's degree of

difficulty when cutting. I never had any trouble

but I've been the only hairdresser to have

never complained (males with Asian hair is

the hardest).

Pepper.
