Finest quality hair clippers.?

I hear that the 'Oster 76 Classic' are probably the best clippers ever made (and they better be for $130) but i also hear that they are quite heavy, and since i'm cutting my own hair, i need to know if these would be ideal for fades, blending etc. given their weight.

How comfortable are these to use and what might some alternatives be?

All ideas welcome.

Depending on how much hair you're planning on cutting and the thickness of you hair, I would also recommend a trimming type clipper. These are used for trimming around the ears, neckline, etc. They usually come with attachments so you can choose your clipped length. They are smaller and easy to handle. Even though cords get in the way, I would recommend getting a corded clipper or trimmer as they seem to work best and last the longest. My personal favorite besides my Oster 76 Classic that I use at work is Wahl brand. Specifically the Wahl "peanut" is my favorite however, I have had luck with other Wahl trimmers and clippers. One of the easiest places for someone to buy these things is Sally Beauty Supply. You will be able to purchase professional products without a license.
