you need to find out when you local beauty supply is having a sharpening day. And keep them well oiled with oster oil. Clean them after every use, and don't store them anywhere where there is any dampness.

clean them with the little brush it should of came with and then oil the blades then turn them on for a bit to make sure the oil gets down into the blades

well you need to clean them after every haircut and oil them every day and get blade wash to get out the old hair.....if you have had them a while it might be time for a new pair i am a stylist and go through clippers anywhere from once a yr to once every 5 yrs...depends on if they were dropped and what not
