How can I buy hair clippers (electric) that won't break?

My aunts both have hair clippers that they bought 25+ years ago and still work great today. Now if I try to find some so that I can cut my husbands hair, there are no good quality ones to be found??!! Advice?

,you can go to any sally beauty store and buy a top of the line clipper set or a real good moderately priced whal clipper which i recommend , they have the guard attachments included in most clipper sets,, good luck, a tip when cutting his hair always keep a finger on top of the guard ,, they like to pop off from time to time,,

Go to Sally's. It's a beauty shop type thing and that's where we got my husband's clippers and they work awesome. We have had them for three years, and they still work brand new.

They should have a web address, but I have no idea for sure.

yes ther is if your willing to spend and invest get the ANDI's clipper and T-edger's clipper is $50-75.00 and edgers are $50-60.00 go to Sally's beauty supply or any beauty supply house, as for your aunt's clippers go to a professional sharpener or buy new blades by manufacturer on web or in beauty store

the more you pay for your clippers, the better they will be. I would suggest the Oster 76 professional. It has a motor driven blade and they are built to last. Gives a great cut too.
