I use clippers on my husbands hair to shave it bald, is it safe to use nair(or something like that)?

he just wants a smoother shave and using a razor makes his head have razor burn. Any thoughts?

my husband keeps his head bald he uses a product called "magic shave" it comes in a powder form . read the label instructions first and probably try a small area first in case you have an allergic rection..... If you live near a wal-mart , I think they carry it.

The skin on your head is far too sensitive to use NAIR on! I am a hairdresser and have seen the damage it can do. I don't advise it!

Nair is meant for fine facial hair. You would have to leave it on for longer than recommended to do anything...and then you may only make the hair brittle (which would not be very pretty). Also you could get a chemical burn on the scalp from leaving it on too long. Try clippers then oil it up and use a razor for the remaining stubble. OOoh-- ahhh, soooo smooth.
